The following events on the storage facilities resulted in the declaration of failure notices:
In addition, these events were published on Storengy's website in order to comply with the provisions of Article 4 of the European Regulation on the integrity and transparency of the wholesale energy markets (Regulation (EU) No 1227/2011 of 25 October 2011) known as "REMIT":
Storengy France has undertaken exceptional maintenance operations at the sites concerned and has made its best efforts to manage these incidents without impacting customer rights. However, as from 7 January 2019, Storengy France is no longer in a position to ensure all customers' rights to the Serene Sud, Serene Littoral, Serene Nord and Sediane Nord storage groups, and therefore declares the following unplanned maintenance notices:
We are making every effort to reduce the impact of these incidents.
In 2015, Storengy's voluntary commitment to the ecological transition and preservation of biodiversity was recognised by the French Ministry of the Environment, the Energy and the Sea within the framework of France's National Biodiversity Strategy (SNB). In line with this, Storengy is developing its industrial activities by reducing its environmental impact and promoting the existing biodiversity on its sites. International Day for Biological Diversity on May 22, 2017 gives Storengy an opportunity to inform its stakeholders about the measures implemented at its sites.

On 5th November, the Prefect of the French Department of Loir-et-Cher, Mr Yves le Breton, visited the storage site of Chémery, together with the Sub-Prefect of Romorantin-Lanthenay, Mr Alain Gueydan. During this visit, the newly nominated Prefect for the Department had a look at the entire facility and acquainted himself with the gas storage site's activity.
For Storengy, this visit was an opportunity to share its values in terms of operational excellence, safety and environmental protection with the State representatives, but also to underline the essential role underground storage plays in the country's security of supply in natural gas.
On 20th October, the Cerville storage site welcomed the reservists of the Pulnoy Civilian security and representatives from the same commune. Within the framework of their civic engagement, the reservists are likely to support the emergency teams, thus this tour to the underground natural gas storage facility was part of their mission. Guided by the Site Manager, they visited the industrial facilities and got acquainted with the storage site's activity. On this occasion, the site representative highlighted Storengy's commitment to safety, reminding that the site has renewed its ISRS* certification in 2014.
*ISRS (International Safety Rating System): the worldwide ISRS certification system aims to evaluate the performance of the quality, health/safety and environmental management system.
