Storengy UK has created over 45 permanent jobs at Stublach in the operations, maintenance and support staff roles. By 2019 when the development of the facility will be finished over 4 million man-hours will have been worked on the site. A large percentage of these construction man-hours will have been supplied by companies with their workforce based in the North West.
In 2017, the Stublach Community Fund was focused on energy efficiency projects in local parish buildings to help reduce their carbon footprint. The community fund is available in the five Parishes the Stublach site spans: Allostock, Byley, Lostock Gralam, Rudheath, Lach Dennis.
As part of this funding we have helped Byley Village Hall install Solar Panels on their roof, allowing them to become the first village hall in Cheshire that are completely solar powered. https://bit.ly/2Eq1eCh
We have also funded new L.E.D lighting and fire door installation at Lostock Gralam community Centre and funding has recently been approved for changing the lighting in Allostock Village Hall to L.E.D
Storengy UK selects a local charity each year to be the focus of its fund raising activities. 2018's chosen Charity is Tiny steps read more about our charity work and Tiny steps. https://bit.ly/2HNN0as
