Bois-Colombes, May 25, 2018 – Storengy, one of the world’s leading operators of underground gas storage facilities, has signed a project management assistance contract with Vencorex to carry out engineering and supervision activities for the drilling of Vencorex’s new well at its Hauterives site (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France). Vencorex specialises in the manufacture of organic chemical products using salt as a raw material. The new well will serve as a source of salt (extracted using the leaching method) to supply Vencorex’s chemical platforms at Pont de Claix and Jarrie.

This new contract marks the latest stage in Storengy’s partnership with Vencorex, which began in connection with the development of Storengy’s Hauterives gas storage facilities near Vencorex’s site.
