An economist by training, with solid financial experience in both the public and private sectors, she joins the executive committee to oversee the company's finance and asset management functions.

As CFO and Head of Asset Management, Hélène Durand will be responsible for overseeing the company's economic and financial performance and ensuring the optimal allocation of Storengy's resources. She will also contribute to monitoring strategic investments, financial analysis of projects, financial risk management, and purchasing performance. She succeeds Yannick Dechoux, who has been appointed Vice President Finance at ENGIE Generation International.

A graduate of École Polytechnique (X98) and the London School of Economics, and former administrator of the INSEE Corps, Hélène Durand began her career in 2003 at the French Treasury. She then held positions at the French Embassy in Japan as financial advisor, before becoming head of French economic policy at the Treasury. In 2011, she joined the Presidency of the Republic as economic and financial advisor to the President, with particular responsibility for G20 issues.

In 2012, she joined TotalEnergies’ Finance Division to manage industrial project financing, later becoming Head of the Economics team within the Exploration and Production business unit. In 2020, she was appointed Vice President for Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Economics for the Gas, Renewables and Power business unit, while also serving as Chief of Staff to the Executive Vice President.

In 2012, she joined TotalEnergies' Finance Division to manage industrial project financing and subsequently took charge of the economic teams in the Exploration and Production business unit. In 2020, she was head of strategy, M&A and economics for the Gas, Renewables and Power Global Business Unit, for which she also acted as Chief of Staff to the Executive Vice President.

She joined ENGIE in 2022 as Group Vice President Corporate Finance & Investment, where she is notably in charge of Mergers and Acquisitions, project finance, Group financing and investments. She was a member of ENGIE’s Board Investment Committee and served on the Board of Directors of Synatom (Belgium). She currently sits on the Board of NaTran (formerly GRTgaz).

Supporting the development of sustainable energy infrastructure requires both strategic vision and financial discipline. I am delighted to be joining Storengy to contribute my experience to its development projects, working closely with the company's teams and industrial ambitions.
