Storengy renews its commitment to biodiversity with act4nature international

This commitment marks a crucial step in Storengy's ongoing efforts to protect and restore biodiversity at its sites in France, Germany and the UK.

Since 2015, Storengy has been fully committed to biodiversity, particularly through its membership of the National Strategy for Biodiversity (SNB). The consolidation of this approach has resulted in membership of the ‘Entreprises Engagées pour la Nature - act4nature France’ scheme and then with act4nature international.

Storengy has reaffirmed its commitment to biodiversity through a new voluntary action plan with the support of the French Committee of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).

This plan now covers all 21 of our sites in Europe and is based on 3 key principles:
- Strengthening the integration of biodiversity into Storengy's governance and strategy,
- Reducing our pressures on biodiversity,
- Carrying out actions to restore biodiversity in partnership with local communities.

Renewing its commitments will enable Storengy to benefit from the initiative's expertise and network, while strengthening its role as a leader in the development of sustainable, environmentally-friendly energy solutions.

Preserving biodiversity has been a core value of Storengy for nearly 15 years. With act4nature international, we are reaffirming our determination to take concrete action at all our industrial sites.
