Presentation of Storengy

Storengy is a subsidiary of the ENGIE group, which is responsible for the underground gas storage.

Storengy, an ENGIE subsidiary, is one of the world leaders in underground gas storage.

With 70 years' experience in underground exploration and exploitation, Storengy is a key player in the energy transition, working to transform its storage facilities in France, Germany and the United Kingdom to achieve 100% renewable gas (biomethane and hydrogen) by 2050.

Storengy operates 21 underground natural gas storage sites in Europe (in aquifers, salt caverns and depleted deposits).

Over the years, Storengy's history has demonstrated its ability to rise to challenges, providing its customers with renewable gas storage solutions to best meet their needs.

These challenges have enabled us to build up our expertise, which covers all subsurface sciences (geophysics, geostatistics, rock mechanics, solution mining) and all surface engineering (compression, processing, command control, etc.).
