Storengy is continuing its commitment to the French Red Cross with a donation of €8,500.

This sum was handed over at a ceremony held on 21 September 2022 in Beynes (department of Yvelines).

Two cheques totalling €8,500, divided between the local units of the French Red Cross in Yvelines (Coeur de Mauldre and Mantes-la-Jolie), were handed over in the presence of Karl Olive, Member of Parliament for the 12th constituency of Yvelines, Pierre Chambon, General Manager of Storengy France, Marie-Hélène Cordier, Chairwoman of the Coeur de Mauldre unit, and Anne Marie Durant, Secretary of the Mantes-la-Jolie unit.

Firmly rooted in its territories, for more than 70 years, Storengy plays an active role in their development, working with local authorities and associations such as the French Red Cross in Yvelines. But being a regional actor also means acting in the event of a crisis. This is why Storengy had responded to calls for solidarity from numerous associations and non-governmental organisations during the COVID-19 crisis. Among other things, this took the form of providing masks, donating to associations, supporting local businesses, voluntary work during employees' free time, etc. In the department of Yvelines, for example, €10,000 were donated to the Red Cross to finance the renovation of a solidarity clothing shop, as well as a grocery store.

In 2020, we responded to an emergency situation. But our solidarity with the territories must be sustainable. That’s why we have signed this partnership, which is reflected today by the presentation of two cheques which are going to be used to purchase a vehicle and food.

Pierre Chambon, Storengy France General Director

In 2021, Storengy and the French Red Cross signed a 3-year partnership agreement. Its main objective is to provide financial and human support to Red Cross branches located near its 14 storage sites.
